Academic Credit Structure at SIT
SIT follows a Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) that allows students to learn at their own pace. This system ensures flexibility while maintaining academic rigor.

- 1 Credit = 1 Hour of Teaching / 2 Hours of Practical
- Total credits to graduate: 160–200, depending on the program
- Required CGPA for graduation: 5.0
- Based on VTU regulations
