The Directorate of Training and Placements at Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumakuru is dedicated to guiding students toward successful career opportunities by actively facilitating campus recruitment drives. Each year, we invite leading companies and organizations to recruit final-year students poised to graduate.
To ensure our students are industry-ready, we emphasize continuous and structured engagement with the corporate world. In addition, students undergo focused Pre-Placement Training (PPT) sessions to sharpen their soft skills, aptitude, and interview readiness.

Training Programs
SIT ensures holistic student development through structured placement training integrated into the curriculum across all semesters:
I / II Semester
- Communicative English – A 48-hour mandatory course (classroom + Cambridge University’s online module) focused on enhancing spoken and written English for professional environments.
III Semester
- Feel Employable Programme – A 3-day workshop on communication, self-esteem, GD, public speaking, resume writing, and team building.
IV/V Semester
- Aptitude & Analytical Skills – A credit-based 36-hour training covering quantitative reasoning, logical thinking, and technical aptitude.
- Coding Skills Empowerment (CS Branches) – Hands-on coding sessions in collaboration with Coding Ninjas to boost employability in product-based companies.
VI Semester
- Soft Skills Training – Covers interpersonal, leadership, and interview skills with a strong focus on GD and business etiquette.
- Advanced Technical Training (Non-IT) – Credit-based technical sessions on C, Data Structures, and Python for core engineering students.
Placement Guidelines
To ensure a smooth and successful placement process, students of the 2027 batch and all subsequent batches are required to follow the updated placement guidelines set forth by the Training & Placement Cell. These guidelines outline the eligibility criteria, registration process, code of conduct during interviews, and post-placement protocols.
