The Directorate of Training and Placements at Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumakuru is dedicated to guiding students toward successful career opportunities by actively facilitating campus recruitment drives. SIT ensures holistic student development through structured placement training integrated into the curriculum across all semesters
Placement Guidance
To ensure a smooth and successful placement process, students of the 2027 batch and all subsequent batches are required to follow the updated placement guidelines set forth by the Training & Placement Cell. These guidelines outline the eligibility criteria, registration process, code of conduct during interviews, and post-placement protocols.

SIT has three fully-equipped seminar halls of various capacities used for company presentations, training sessions, and academic talks. These halls are designed to offer a professional setup for campus engagement.
Interview Rooms

Meeting Hall

Industry Collaboration
Caterpillar’s Grads with Goals is a pioneering program that aims to equip engineering students with crucial technical and soft skills, setting them up for a successful career.
Commvault developed a program in India for early career women called PRATIDHI(Hope for the future). “Pratidhi” (which in Sanskrit means Hope) is a mentorship program designed to empower young women in technology.
